After a couple of months playing away this Saturday the Chieftains travel for what is their first official 'Home' game at their temporary home in Lee Valley. The team have been playing some superb hockey on the road and still remain on top of the pile in NIHL Division 2 South. A few personnel changes since regular Riverside fans saw their team in action including the return of Rob Veares and the addition of new Swedish 'import' David Millner who marked his first weekend in the Black 'n' Gold with five goals and four assists.
This will be the Chieftains first chance for over two months to earn some revenue after a few weeks of spend, spend, spend and fans are urged to travel the 30 miles to the East London based Lee Valley Ice Centre to support their team as they await the re-opening or Riverside next spring.
Coach Joe Wilson stated "We have had some fantastic support on the road over the past few weeks and the team really appreciate every single fan that come along and give them so much support. Keep it up and let's make the guys feel at home this Saturday"
The doors open at 4.30pm with the face-off at 5.30pm.
